General Calendar Configuration

This block is used to specify Date Aliases which have been chosen by the institution to represent non-Enrolment specific dates. Each of these System Dates is defined and their use explained in the explanation of Enrolment Calendar Configuration.

For example, if the institution determines that Census Dates will be represented by the Date Alias CENSUS, then by recording CENSUS in the Census Date Alias field in this form, the System will recognise CENSUS for any activity involving Census Dates.

Enrolment Calendar Configuration

This block is used to specify the Date Aliases which have been chosen by the institution to represent various Enrolment related System Dates. Each of these System Dates is defined and their use explained in the explanation of Enrolment Calendar Configuration.

The General Calendar Configuration block contains:

• Census Date Alias
• Crs Completion Cutoff Date Alias

The Enrolment Calendar Configuration block contains:

• Commencement Date Alias
• Commence Cutoff Date Alias
• Record Open Date Alias
• Record Cutoff Date Alias
• Variation Cutoff Date Alias
• Sub-unit Date Alias
• Effect Enr Start Date Alias
• Load Effective Date Alias
• Package Prod Date Alias
• Form Due Date Alias

The Enrolment Calendar Configuration (More) block contains:

• Enrolled Rule Cutoff Date Alias
• Invalid Rule Cutoff Date Alias
• Enrolment Cleanup Date Alias
• Lapse Date Alias
• Enrolment Activity Start Date Alias (VET field)
• Enrolment Activity End Date Alias (VET field)
• Participation Check Date Alias (VET field)

To record a Census Date Alias using the Maintain System Calendar Configuration form:

• Enter the Date Alias (or select a Date Alias from the list of values) in the Census Date Alias field
• Save

Rules/Notes:

Subsystem setup data is recorded in this form. Once it is set up and in use, the data should not be modified or deleted.

To record Date Aliases representing Enrolments Subsystem 'System Dates' using the Maintain System Calendar Configuration form:

• Enter the Date Aliases (or select a Date Alias from the list of values) in each of the Date Alias fields
• Save

Rules/Notes:

Subsystem setup data is recorded in this form. Once it is set up and in use, the data should not be modified or deleted.

The action taken by the process depends on the 'Enrolled Rule Cutoff' Date Alias and the 'Invalid Rule Cutoff' Date Alias, both are described in the introduction to Enrolment Calendar Configuration, and is dependant on the Status Update Override selection.
