Course Offering Instance The Course Offering Instance block displays the current Course Offering Instance record from CRSF1300. The displayed records in the Course Offering Pattern block are the Offering Pattern data for the context record. For example, if Course Offering Instance A300 - Bachelor of Arts, version x, Standard Academic Year, 1/1/05 to 31/12/05 is displayed in the Maintain Course Offerings form, and the Course Offering Patterns button is selected, then this form will display A300 - Bachelor of Arts, version x, Standard Academic Year, 1/1/05 to 31/12/05 as the context record and any existing Offering Patterns relating to this record will be displayed. Course Offering Pattern An Offering Pattern enhances the definition of a Course Offering Instance through the assignment of further attributes to the Course Offering option. These attributes are primarily concerned with the availability of the Course Offering Instance. A Course Offering Instance may have more than one Offering Pattern. Course Admission is to Course Offering Patterns. For example, each attribute in this block is described in the Subsystem Glossary. This form can be accessed through the Course Offering button in CRSF1210, then the Course Offering Patterns button (bottom block) in CRSF1300. |
