Purpose

This purpose of this function is to enable the mapping of Course Versions to one or more Government Training Organisations

This purpose of this function is to enable the mapping of course versions to one or more Government Training Organisations. This mapping will be enforced for all VET course versions when set to ACTIVE.

The mapping will be used to derive the select list of Training Organisations for each Student Course Attempt. The Training Organisation selected for a Course Attempt will determine the State / Territory body for reporting purposes.

For example:

Invoked from CRSF1210 Maintain Course Version. Course Version passed in context.

To create a new Course Government Training Organisation:

• Enter the Org Unit code for this Course Government Training Organisation.
• Enter the start date for this record.
• Enter the Course Government Training Organisation Title.
• If appropriate, activate the Local checkbox
• Save

Rules/Notes:

One and only one Course Government Training Organisation must have the Local indicator set to Yes

A Course Government Training Organisation record cannot be created for a closed Government Training Organisation.

A Course Government Training Organisation record cannot be inserted, deleted or updated if the Course Version is INACTIVE.

To modify a Course Government Training Organisation:

• Find the record to be modified
• Modify the record as required
• Save

Rules/notes:

Once in use, a Course Government Training Organisation should not be modified.

To delete a Course Government Training Organisation:

• Find the record to be deleted
• Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
• Delete record
• Save

Rules/Notes:

A Course Government Training Organisation can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
