CORF2550 - Maintain Letter Phrase

Purpose

To allow the creation and maintenance of Letter Phrases. In particular, to create text associated with Letter Phrases that can be used in the creation of letters.

Letter Phrases are text that must be assigned to Letter Parameters, for inclusion in letters produced by Callista. The Letter Parameters must be of System Parameter Type 'PHRASE'.

Letter Phrases have formatting applied to them via templates. The formatting is applied to the Letter Parameter, that has the Letter Phrases assigned to it.

Allocation of Text to Letter Phrases

Typically, Letter Phrases are created to provide specific text for particular correspondence needs. Text can be allocated to Phrase Codes, to enhance the standardisation of correspondence.

 

Use this form to record the appropriate Letter Phrase Code and Text.

    Enter an appropriate Letter Phrase Code.
  • Description
  • Request Number
  • Closed check box
    Closing a Letter Phrase, by selecting the closed check box, will mean the Letter Phrase cannot be allocated to Letter Parameters.
  • Phrase Text
    Enter the appropriate Phrase Text.

Rules/Notes:

Phrase Codes must be unique. Phrase Codes should avoid special characters. The template determines the format of the Phrase Code. Phrase Text cannot exceed 2000 characters.
