Purpose

This function allows institutions to create and maintain Person Other Qualifications

This function will allow the capture of a Verification Status and related Verification Status Audit details.

Additionally, the institution can record Assessment Comments allowing the recording of Assessment specific information about an applicant's Qualification.

Accessed through main menu or through ADMF3000, via the Other Quals button.

The Person block contains:

• Person ID
• Sex
• Date Of Birth

The Person Other Qualification block contains:

• Qualification Type (LOV)
• Other Qualification
• Achieved Date
• Expiry Date
• Verification Status (LOV)
• Status Updated By
• Status Updated On
• Comments
• Assessment Comments

Rules/Notes:

The following Validations are:

• Cannot create a person other qualification with a closed Qualification Type
• Cannot create a person other qualification with a closed Verification Status
• One of either Qualification Type or Other Qualification must be entered
• Warn if another of the same Qualification Type exists for the same person
• Warn if another of the same Qualification exists for the same person

• Qualification Type

Columns in Verification Status LOV are:

• Verification Status
• Description
• Closed

Tthe functionality behind the Verification Status Updated By and Status Updated On fields is as follows.

In summary, if the Capture Audit check box on the Verification Status Table is set to ‘Y’ (ADMF0360), the Verification Status Audit details must be captured. These fields are display only, and the prompts must be enabled when data is captured (i.e. fields NOT NULL), and disabled when data hasn’t been captured (i.e. fields NULL).

Rules/Notes:

A lamp should appear on the Person Other Qualification block when there is more than one record in the PERSON_OTHER_QUALIFICATION table for the given PERSON_ID.
