Salon des Refuses 2017 Floor Talk - Tina Baum and Paul Johnstone in Conversation

Join Tina Baum, Curator of Indigenous Art, National Gallery of Australia and Paul Johnstone of Paul Johnstone Gallery as they have a share perspectives and responses to the art displayed in the Salon des Refuses 2017. Tina Baum recently curated the 3rd National Indigenous Art Triennial - Defying Empire - a major exhibition that surveys the contemporary practice of 30 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from across the country, responding to the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum at National Gallery of Australia. Paul Johnstone is the Director of the Paul Johnstone Gallery, Darwin, and co-presenter of Salon des Refuses along with Matt Ward of Outstation – art from art centres.
