Student email campaign

As part of the Retention Project, the University has launched a student email campaign targeting commencing, undergraduate students in higher education at various times during their first semester.  The emails contain timely, relevant and useful information to support students' transition into the university experience.  By adopting a pro-active approach with students during this crucial transition period, our aim is to ensure that they are well-informed about what it means to be a student at Charles Darwin University and about the various forms of support available to them.

The email campaign is designed to complement the wide array of sessions and activities that take place during Orientation Week, the information available on the Orientation website and the communications made by the various groups around the University and the teaching staff.

Being new to university study can be overwhelming for some students.  By providing them with tailored information at timely moments, we hope that our students will feel supported and quickly gain the confidence to engage with all of the opportunities available to them at CDU.  Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge they need to make informed choices and to succeed at university.
