Timor-Leste
About the Timor-Leste Reference Group
The focus of the Timor-Leste Reference Group is to share information amongst active and interested members of the CDU community, the Northern Territory Government and other key partners about collaborative activities that are being pursued by CDU in Timor-Leste.
The Timor-Leste Reference Group reports to the International Committee which reports to the Vice-Chancellor's Advisory Group.
The circulation of this information will assist in the coordination of a university wide approach to activities in Timor-Leste and act as a catalyst for generating more opportunities for collaborative engagement.
Membership of the Group includes senior academic and administrative members of the University's governance hierarchy; active researchers; facilitators and managers of important stakeholder relationships, and representatives of the Northern Territory Government and the Consulate of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
The Group meets regularly and is Chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Secretariat support is provided by Sally Hodgetts, Manager, International Projects and Operations, Office of International Services. In addition, the University hosts a CDU Engagement with Timor-Leste event to showcase the diversity of collaborative activities being undertaken.
