Committee Structure

The Vocational Education and Training (VET) Re-registration Working Group (VETRWG) was established in late 2015, to co-ordinate the University's preparations and application for re-registration as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

An Executive Group of the VETRWG meets fortnightly to provide management oversight, chaired by the Pro-Vice Chancellor – Engineering, Health, Science and Environment (PVC EHSE). The RTO Re-registration Project Manager manages the re-registration project under direction of the Executive Group.

As of 2017, the VETRWG has been re-constituted to only include those representatives working at an operational level. The Project Manager will be responsible for Chairing the fortnightly Operational Group of the VETRWG. PVC EHSE will Chair the Executive Group. Both the Executive and Operational groups will continue to function until RTO registration is renewed.
